Luna and Bethel know that July 4th is for celebrating and drinking your beer and setting the woods on fire with your loud bangies and burning the meat on your flames or not burning your meat enough and going to the hospital with your sickness, but Luna and Bethel want to remind you of seriousness today! Luna and Bethel think that this is Luna and Bethel's country and Luna and Bethel really like their country a lot! Well, Luna and Bethel like what their country could be, with liberty and justice for all, not just for some people with money and big mouths. Even if you don't have money, you can be a big mouth, and Luna and Bethel want you today to consider doing something about things that bug you about your country! Call up a senator and say, "Blab blab, you work for me, you do something about this thing that bugs me!" It's your country and it's your July 4th, and Luna and Bethel don't want you to forget that!

Luna and Bethel, the toy fox terriers, are happy to report to you that you no longer have to report for jury duty in America! President Dick Cheney commuted the prison sentence of his little toadie, Scooter Poop Libby, because President Cheney thought that Scooter Poop's punishment was "excessive." Scooter Poop will be paying his fine out of his allowance that President Cheney gives him and Scooter Poop has two years of probation, which means Scooter Poop might have to get a job at Walmart to prove he is a good boy. Luna and Bethel are glad that the judicial system no longer matters in America because Luna and Bethel so hate jury doody!

Dear Luna and Bethel-
I was wondering where you stood on the state of the music industry. It seems that all of the recording studios are closing down and that the record companies themselves are downsizing as well as spending more money on artists recording ringtones rather than albums. This means less dog employment for such classics as "dogs woof jingle bells" and other such classics. On a similar note, I was wondering what you thought of the album "Meowstro Sings- Guster's Keeping it Together"?
